Within this topic, I will be considering some questions that are emerging for me, using the questions from the module handbook for inspiration. I have written the task in a google document as I would like to keep some of these questions private from the general public, due to professional discretion..

ReplyDeleteAs you can probably tell, I've got behind with my blog comments and am going through a lot in one go, hence why I'm commenting on all your work at once!
I found your Inquiry task incredibly inspiring. I share your views on Performing Arts being pushed to the sidelines and I envy your position in a secondary school, which is where I want to be. I'm also aspiring to be a GCSE Dance teacher, as you are.
You've come up with a number of really great lines of inquiry, ones which could produce some extremely useful results. I too envy the teachers that maintain complete control without having to raise their voice, that have that invisible power over their students.
I listened to the Susan Elkin interview and she seems to be a great woman with some very respectable ideas regarding education use of performing arts. I am most certainly going to look further into Y touring, as it sounds like a fascinating project.
